The concert was good, CS&N looked great and sounded OK for a bunch of old farts. We ended up being on security instead of parking and we were stationed in the wine room where it was nice and cool or in the shade close to that area. We rotated our positions and mostly just talked as it was a pretty mellow crowd, a little too much for that age group to be trying to climb over the wall to get in. I have a feeling it will be a little different when The Fray plays in a couple of weeks. We are hoping for the same assignment every time, it was perfect for those of us who don't like hot. They served us make-your-own sandwiches with all the trimmings, tater salad, chips and an endless supply of water. I like my new volunteer job and the best part of the whole thing is that I can drive to and from Murphy's with no anxiety about the cliffs or bridge. If you have ever had a panic attack, you know how freeing that can be.
I feel like I have been going non stop for way too long so I plan on staying home until Thursday when I'll go with Pat to Modesto. She is driving a little bit and want's some company. It's going to be so freaking hot, ah, Modesto in the summer, my favorite. :)
