My bad, nothing all week, oh well. Monday and Tuesday were spent here at the house doing yard work, sewing, cooking and cleaning. Then Wednesday we had our monthly AMA, Sonora Toy Run meeting. Cindy and Fred were real busy with elections so Robert made the sauce and I cooked noodles for a nice spaghetti pot luck. It was a pretty good turn out and dinner was really delicious.

Thursday I picked up the newest member to our family.
His name was Shilo but it didn't fit so he is now Dinky. He is small but the name is from the Huckleberry Hound cartoon, one of the characters was Dinky and since we already have Huck. I thought about Tom but that doesn't fit either. He's Yorkie and something. First I thought Wired Hair Tarrier but it might be Mini Doxie. Anyhow, he was a pound puppy who now at his third
home. He is very timid, who knows why but he's coming around. The last owner said he doesn't like men and both of his last homes had men so we'll see. He gets along great with the dogs
and doesn't chase cats. He is a little bit smaller than Annie.

After I got Dinky settled in I took Pat down to Modesto and exchanged the wedding dress
patterns for some craft supplies I have been needing. I worked out perfectly as I now have all the clay I need for the Shrek and Fiona cake topper. I have Shrek's head almost done, I hope the kids like it. Even if they don't want it on the cake it's fun making it.

Friday I picked up Lynn at the car repair shop and we hit the junk store. She got a bunch of shorts for a quarter each. I found a cute little wagon that is now a planter. Lynn asked if that was the place where John found the pants and who walks around the corner but John. Too funny. We then met up with Carrie and Jennifer and headed off to Modesto to pick up Greg who came in on the train from a visit to LA. We had lunch at the Mexican Grocery store in Riverbank. It's nothing fancy but they have very good authentic food plus home made tortillas. Now that's a treat.

When we got back to Sonora everybody had something to do so we went our separate ways. Only to meet up again to help Dillon move a pool table he got as a gift. We got there and he had more help than he needed so we all headed home again.

I start ceramics class on Monday so I have been organizing all my stuff. I need a studio. Actually what would be ideal is an old abandoned warehouse. I would put in a small bathroom, kitchen and a place to sleep then all the rest would be tables for all the projects I want/need/should/might like to do. It's such a pain putting everything away so I can do something else.

I have a family of little titmouse birds that is frequenting my front porch. They are very noisy and I have tried to record them for a cell phone ring tone but I haven't had much luck. There is a feeder and a larger bird who only wanted the sun flower seeds threw all the rest all over the place. That's what the titmouse is feeding her babies. Have I mentioned I love nature?

Have a positive week and remember to pay it forward.
