Carloonie's Adventures

It will never cease to amaze me how quickly the weather can change. Today the high was 99. Too hot for anybody to be outside but we went to my grand-dogs birthday party and a good time was had by all. Sandi has a nice big patio that has shade and misters. I was soaking wet and not uncomfortable at all.

There were 9 dogs, all small, and they all got along, Caesar Milan would be proud of all us pack leaders. Dinky did very good, not any more scared of the men than he was of anyone else. He has made great progress.

Sandi's mom brought Hors d'œuvres, for the dogs, chicken liver and gizzards and some sliced hot dogs. I made the cake, it was very good, I had a couple pieces when it first came out of the oven. I used apples, carrots, nuts honey, flour, cornmeal, eggs, cinnamon and nutmeg. I made frosting out of cream cheese, yogurt and honey. The dogs really liked the frosting. There were leftovers that I'll take to school tomorrow.
