Had lunch with my friend, Lynn, at the Chinese Buffet today, I love that place. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go, not really, those lyrics just came to mind. Last load of laundry is in, frig is cleaned out, the hold mail notice is in the mail box.I realized today that this adventure will be the first time I'll be flying alone and driving cross country since the early 70s, first time going to my brothers without the dogs and the first time traveling with just dad.
I'm getting pretty excited and the dogs seem to have settled down, until I pull out the suitcase tomorrow morning. Dillon and Melody won't land until 9 tomorrow night so I'll leave here early afternoon.
Think I'll hop in the tub for a long soak before I settle down to watch Betty White host SNL. Good night . . . .
So I was wondering because im one of those people who plan the hell out of things.... When you get to your dads is your road trip in a car/motorhome? And How long do you plan on being gone? And do you have any destinations??
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a road trip with my father but we wouldnt make it out of town because we would have one beer at each bar.....
